As assistant director of communications & alumni relations at the Michigan State University College of Nursing, Marco Schimizzi oversees communications, donor relations, annual giving and events for alumni and key stakeholders of the college. In 2019, he led an annual giving campaign in memory of a fallen veteran that set a record for funds raised at the university and garnered statewide attention. He also assists with the creation of the quarterly strategic communications series put out by the college. He enjoys cooking, watching Argentinian soccer, and spending time with friends and family in his free time.
