As the Digital Lead for Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism, Amy Fisher is a key player in the development and execution of the province’s digital and social media strategies. Responsible for such viral videos as “Goat on a Horse”, Amy’s passion for destination marketing and development has made her eager to increase audience engagement and non-resident visitation to Newfoundland & Labrador. An honours graduate from Memorial University’s Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) and Master of Business Administration programs, Amy was awarded over 15 scholarships, distinctions, and awards during her studies. Her volunteer work as Director of Programming with TEDxStJohns allows her to spark innovation and thinking in her community. Amy has spent the past 7 years further honing her business skills through consulting work and by running an internationally acclaimed music blog.
