Orientation is a rite of passage for any student. But how do you get to know a campus of 40,000+ students and employees in just two short days? With an outstanding student experience being paramount at the UofM, we knew we wanted to create a ‘digital Orientation’ on social media.
In this case study, I’ll take you through the strategic thinking of how we brought together the information we wanted to share with our students and the way they wanted to receive it, while staying true to our greater institutional goals. We’ll cover the content creation, execution and finally – measuring success. You’ll get my best tips for choosing the right channel for your campaign, developing messaging and content that will resonate with your students, and reporting on success to the big bosses.
