#PSEWEB

To mark our great reunion – seeing each other in-person for the first time in three years – we’re extremely pleased to announce our FIVE amazing keynote speakers for this year’s conference.

We’re honoured to have UBC President, Chair of the U15 Group of Universities, and McGill alum, Santa Ono, lead us off with his keynote, “Building a Better University, One Tweet at a Time”. This talk will be broadcast online on Tuesday July 12, the day before our main conference sessions begin. We’re huge fans of Dr. Ono’s leadership style, his many achievements, his deep commitment to the community and his impressive social media presence. We’re hoping to see a great turnout for this lunchtime address which will be made available to the public.

In keeping with our reunion theme, Wednesday’s opening keynote will be delivered by long-time #PSEWEB community member, Hamza Khan. Hamza, who first presented at #PSEWEB in 2014, is a multi-award-winning marketer, bestselling author, and global keynote speaker. We’relooking forward to seeing Hamza return to the #PSEWEB podium!

Leader, educator and a staunch advocate in support of women and diversity in technology, Montreal’s Cassie Rhéaume will deliver our Wednesday afternoon keynote address. Cassie’s talk highlights the importance and benefits of inclusive mentorship and embodies themes of equity, inclusion and diversity that are reflected in many of this year’s sessions.

We have a special place in our hearts for our Thursday morning keynote speaker, Joel Goodman. Joel is a digital strategist and designer, who presents at conferences around the world. As a valued member and supporter of our #PSEWEB planning team we’re excited to listen and learn.

Closing our 2022 event in our headlining time slot is podcast host, story teller, and grand slam champion, Shannon Cason. Shannons’ talk on “Brutally Honest Storytelling” techniques will be a perfect way to wrap up the conference, reminding us of the truly important things to focus on in the work that we do.

We’re very proud to be able to present such a stellar lineup of keynotes this year. Hope you’ll be inspired by their wisdom and insights.
