Kris has more than 20 years of communications experience, ranging from retail marketing and ad agency work, to content curation and strategic communications in higher ed.
Having worked in the post-secondary education sector for the past 15 years, Kris now leads the team at the University of Saskatchewan (USask) responsible for media relations, university storytelling, internal communications, alumni communications, and issues management and crisis communications. Using a variety of digital and non-digital channels, the University Communications team builds local, national and international profile for USask, while protecting the university’s reputation.
Out of the office, whether on campus or, more recently at home, Kris enjoys hanging out with his family, running, reading, and listening to music…but also watching a lot of television.
