Joel G Goodman has been working in higher education web marketing since 2007, when he took his first university job in Southern Illinois. Since then, his work has centered around digital strategy and experience design at two institutions and later as a consultant.

Based in Austin, Texas since 2012, Joel works with institutions across the U.S. and abroad. He holds a master of arts degree in Media Studies from The New School for Public Engagement and 16 years of applied higher education web marketing experience. He also co-hosts the Thought Feeder podcast, tries to send out a personal newsletter every week, and nearly always has bread in the oven.
