Emily has been affiliated with the McGill Office for Science and Society (OSS) since she began her studies at McGill University. With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Studies of Medicine, and post-graduate work in Public Relations, managing the public affairs and communications for the OSS allows her to combine her passion for health and science with the media and communications.

Emily also has experience working in talent publicity in New York City, thereby offering a unique perspective on the interplay between science and health and that of pop culture and entertainment.

Emily enjoys long-distance running, comedy, pop culture, and late-night television.
