Brigid McWhirter is a Content Specialist at Nova Scotia Community College. Prior to this, Brigid was a marketing professional working in the tourism industry and with tourism clients for 10 years.

Brigid believes collaboration is a skill that anyone can develop if they’re willing to learn and work at it. Her favourite work happens when communication lines are open between people and teams, and when people feel inspired and safe to suggest ideas and take charge of making them happen. She is interested in leadership and believes anyone can be a leader in any role, at any level within an organization. She loves digital strategy, developing content, building and nurturing online communities, telling stories, knitting, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
