Rooted in creating a user-centric product (website, mobile app, social media channels), the concept of User Journey Mapping can be a cornerstone for projects in higher education. Having gone through this process with nearly a dozen institutions, we’d like to share our experience and help you in preparing your own User Journey Mapping process. This session will cover how to collect primary data (surveys, focus groups, 1 on 1 interviews and Google Analytics), how to turn this data into Information, and finally, how to bring that to a document that your community will understand. When executed correctly, these User Journey Maps can allow you to have frank discussions internally without guessing about your user needs or opinions.
More specifically, this session will teach you how to embed the User Journey Mapping process into your product development or website development in order to allow data to drive decisions.
