Negin has led international marketing and communications projects for over 15 years in various industries, including engineering, publishing, non-profit and higher education. She speaks 5 languages and has lived, worked and studied in 7 countries. Her education includes an HBA from San Diego State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Having worked at the University of Toronto for over 4 years, she has led many high-profile marketing and communications projects within 2 of its divisions as well as supporting the senior administration. She recently completed a 1-year secondment in the role of International Communications Advisor within the Office of the V.P., International, and has since returned to her ongoing role of Communications Officer in the Advancement Office at U of T Mississauga.

Negin is passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion topics, and she is deeply engaged with the topic at the University of Toronto and in her community.

In her free time, Negin likes to take her young family on adventurous trips around the world. She is also a hobby writer who is about to publish her first novel, a middle-grade children’s book.
