Following a nine-year career as a journalist – where he worked in Canada and abroad for the CBC, Journalists for Human Rights, The Wire Report, The Sudbury Star and the Northern Life Newspaper – Jonathan made the switch to higher education in 2017.

Jonathan is now a member of Laurentian University’s Digital Strategy team, where he works as the university’s social media coordinator. In that role he manages Laurentian’s social media properties, and helps share the amazing opportunities Laurentian has to offer to prospective students.

He is also an active contributor to the #PSEWEB blog.

Whether it’s hiking and canoeing in the summer, or cross-country skiing in the winter, Jonathan loves to explore Northern Ontario’s natural landscapes. He and his wife Alisha have two cats at home — Huckleberry and Finn.
