For the past four years we’ve been connecting with our applicants through weekly live, interactive webcasts. In that time we’ve reached out to almost 50,000 students and logged over 1.4M viewer minutes. These live streams allow us to actively engage our large prospective student community and give them an opportunity to connect with us in a personalized, human way. Our webcasts have been designed to include active participation from first-entry divisions, current students and other departments across the university.

This presentation will give a little insight on how we manage our productions, highlight our successes and challenges, share some of our metrics and provide a technical breakdown of how to stream live video over the Internet.
