What does it mean to apply a strategic “no” within a communications environment where every project is perceived as urgent and every message competes for attention? This session explores the concept of the strategic no: not as a barrier but as a purposeful tool for focus, clarity and collaboration.
With 9 departments across the Registrar’s Office relying on our communications team to reach students, faculty and campus partners, prioritization becomes essential. By making use of automation, as well as building customized tools for intake requests, project planning and self-service resources, we’ve been able to increase transparency, improve clarity of incoming requests and empower partners with the user-knowledge necessary to operate with confidence. Leaving room for what matters most – delivering unified, student-centered communications that makes an impact.
