Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Best Collaboration and Management Hacks for Producing the Best Content

Working with contract or work study students on social media and comms work? In this session, we’ll be going over how best to integrate the social media skills and references of student employees to make your content pop! This will cover everything from assessing student strengths, to trend analysis, to data analytics and more, learning which management styles engage students the best. With several U of T case studies, and breaking down which directional choices helped to produce content that garnered an average viewership of over 1 million views, we will explore how student staff can help higher ed social media accounts reach a wider audience and demographic.

Katie is the Student Recruitment and Communications Assistant within the University Admissions and Outreach team at U of T. Her work encompasses content creation for prospective students on all Future U of T social media channels, in which she oversees 3 Work-Study students, website curation and updates, and mass communications for various events and trainings. In her free time, Katie enjoys being outdoors and going to concerts.
