What’s in a content calendar?
Having done social media since the Vine days (gone too soon), we’re no stranger to content calendars. They’re often an afterthought, a freebie from paid services to map days of significance. But when it comes to social media in higher education, one size doesn’t fit all.
What if your content calendar could do so much more for you? All it takes is your content and metrics, a little time, and a spreadsheet.
Learn how to take your calendars beyond Taco Tuesday, using your own data points to anticipate audience attentiveness, identify content buckets, find post formats that work best for your channel goals, and gather data that proves you’re not just screaming into the void–though it might feel like it sometimes.
We’ll walk through why expanded content calendars were a useful step in our often term-ruled world of higher education, how we use ours in our day-to-day content and campaign management, the things we track and include in our content calendars, and how it helps us guide recommendations for stakeholders creating content for our channels.
