Discover how to transform one piece of content into a multi-platform storytelling strategy that amplifies reach, drives engagement, and aligns with institutional goals. In this session, Shayla Vize, Manager of Digital Communications and Engagement in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, shares how her team built an award-winning model that transforms one video into an entire ecosystem of digital storytelling. Through proven examples, attendees will see how one core narrative can be reshaped to fit each platform’s unique audience and purpose, while maintaining brand consistency and accessibility. A single piece of content can become many. Attendees will be encouraged to think of content like a puzzle, placing each piece where it fits best to create a cohesive, engaging digital story. The session will also explore how this content fuels media relations efforts and other institutional storytelling initiatives. Attendees will leave with practical examples and creative inspiration to transform one story into a multi-platform success, proving that great storytelling doesn’t need a bigger budget, just a sharper digital strategy.
