We all know that social media is supposed to be social. But what if we approached ‘being social’ in a new way, and infused an ethic of care into our accounts, using social media to not just build community and engage, but to truly take care of our students?
This presentation will explore what it means to infuse ethics of care into social media, strategies for doing so, and the impact that it can have—both on and off social. You’ll leave with ideas, inspiration, and hopefully a new perspective on how we can use our institutional accounts to take care of each other.
