During U of T Entrepreneurship Week, we wanted to showcase how a founder and U of T alumna really made the most of the U of T startup ecosystem and how current and future students could get involved in their own way. Enter the Instagram Story Takeover. We worked directly U of T Entrepreneurship to select a great candidate for the role, had initial calls, created a creative brief and shot on the day to create a story to be edited and posted. And it didn’t come without its challenges! In this talk we’ll cover:
- how we measured engagement and success
- sustainability side to the innovation of Instagram Story shares and Highlights to improve reach beyond the 24-hour time allotted on the story.
- how you can pick a great takeover host
- work with them to get an authentic story
- tech requirements we used to record great audio and visual while in busy areas
- how we went about editing and publishing
