As the enterprise Web Services group at Carleton University, we are responsible for over 600 websites.

Three years ago we transitioned to an agile framework for managing our projects and it has transformed the way we work. I am proud to say that we have created a collaborative work environment where people feel heard, engaged, productive, focused and appreciated – and we have fun along the way.

In this presentation I will talk about what we were doing before agile, why we adopted the framework, how we made the transition, and why we think it’s awesome. I’ll share the tools we use, how we run our meetings, and how we balance operational work and project work (hint: it involves a super hero). And of course, the lessons learned along the way.
