We wouldn’t be able to have #TheGreatReunion without widely-available vaccines, masks, and physical distancing guidelines over the past two years.
As of June 2022, masking and physical distancing requirements have been lifted by the Government of Quebec and McGill University, therefore there are no current mandates in place. This includes inside McGill University buildings, inside Delta Hotel, and on public transportation throughout Montreal. Some private services, like Uber and Lyft, or private businesses still require masks, but there are no vaccine passport requirements for entering stores, restaurants, movie theaters, or other buildings.
We do encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated and boosted before attending #PSEWEB 2022, to quarantine and test yourself before arriving, to wear a mask when traveling to Montreal, and to wear a mask whenever physical distancing isn’t an option throughout the conference. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available throughout McGill University and at #PSEWEB registration tables in the Delta Hotel.
Please refer to the Government of Quebec’s website for steps to limit the spread of COVID-19.
From the Delta Hotel: “Fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.”
