That Buzzfeed Though

Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:20 AM

To celebrate our one year anniversary on Instagram, Western University launched a Buzzfeed.com account and posted its first article – a recap of our favourite Instagram posts over the previous twelve months. We didn’t break the internet, but over the following weekend, we proudly watched our little buzz earn more web traffic than other major Western websites earn during a month. Convocation added two more posts and another surge of web traffic & social response. Looking for a quick, hip way to show off great stories and moments? Storify got you down? This presentation will walk you through Western’s Buzzfeed project, the results that we got and what we’ve got coming up next.
