Small Budget, Big Impact: Create Engaging Digital Stories

Monday, August 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM

Location: Room 1

When you have a small budget, creative storytelling is the most valuable commodity in your digital toolbox. Sometimes, it’s even an opportunity to achieve the unexpected: a real, genuine connection between your target audience and your brand.

Operating on budgets from $0 to $20 to $200, we saw 10 times the engagement on our social platforms and an increase in our service usage with students and alumni. From feel-good follower campaigns, like surprising students with giant stuffed bears on Valentine’s Day, to strategic outreach through experiencing a day in the life of an exchange student across the globe, we have implemented interesting, varied, and measurable campaigns.

Those who attend this session will learn about four successful campaigns we ran on a small budget and will leave with tools to implement and measure their own digital stories.
